April 1973	Taking charge of one part of the Machinery Trading Division of ITOCHU Corporation, the firm was established as ITOCHU Machinery Corporation with capital of 50 million yen. Started up with 23 persons in three sales departments, Industrial Machinery Dept., Chemical Machinery Dept. and Electrical Machinery Dept.
May 1977	Capital increased to 100 million yen
April 1991	Capital increased to 200 million yen
November 1996	Moved to current head office location
April 1999	Renamed to ITOCHU Plant & Machinery Corporation
April 2001	dual sales division system (7 sales departments and offices) introduced Technology Development Dept. newly created
